Vegan tofu in nutbutter with mashed potatoes

Prep time – 10 min

Cook time – 20 min

Total time – 30 mins

Ingredients for tofu & sauce

2tbsp oil

450 gr.firm tofu ( sliced into cubes 1-2 cm)

2 onions chopped

2-3 cloves garlic chopped

2tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp sweet soy sauce

1.5 tbsp nutbutter

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 cup veg.broth

1/2 tbsp.sriracha sauce

Instructions

1. Heat the pan and add oil and add garlic + onion.

2. Saute for 1-2 min and add soy sauce+ sweet soy sauce+nutbutter+maple syrup, mix well.

3. Add veg.broth + tofu cubes+ sriracha sauce

4. Bring to boil and keep mixing till it reduces and thickens

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, vegetables. Any side dish you prefer.
