Preparation time – 1,5 hours

Cooking time  – 30 minutes

Total time – 2 hours


1 glass of any short-grain rice;

1 glass of water;

Sauce for rice:

2-3 table spoons of rice vinegar,

1,5 table spoons of sugar (can be replaced by stevia),

1 tea spoon of salt;

Vegetables for stuffing (you can use any of your favorite vegetables or you can mix them):



sweet pepper,

bell pepper.

Cooking method:

Wash rice 3-5 times in plenty of water, then boil for 15 minutes until done and leave for 15 minutes to draw under the cover.

While the rice is boiled, prepare the marinade sauce for rice: mix all necessary ingredients and let them draw in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.

Stir cooked sauce and rice well. Cool down.

While the rice gets cold, cut vegetables into long wedges.

Cover Makisu (the special sushi rug) with cellophane and start laying the future roll step by step:

– rice at first;

– then stripes of vegetables.

Roll up and put it aside for some time, so that all stuff bonds well together.

Cut rolls with a sharp knife.

Serve and dish them up with a soy sauce.
